Hosted by Edinburgh Napier University’s School of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment, this session will showcase Engineering Innovation in Action, offering insight into how academia and industry can work together to accelerate progress and deliver real-world impact.
Event Overview
Discover how Edinburgh Napier’s Engineering and Mathematics subject group is advancing innovation across energy, advanced manufacturing, automation, and robotics. Their industry-focused programmes combine practical engineering expertise, advanced computing capability, and creative design thinking—equipping graduates with the skills to solve complex engineering challenges.
The event will also highlight their Energy and Environmental Engineering provision, including developments in renewable energy systems, sustainable materials, and low- and zero-carbon building services design. Attendees will learn more about opportunities for collaboration through Continuing Professional Development (CPD), MSc study, and Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs).
Guests will have the opportunity to experience their state-of-the-art facilities, including robotics and automated manufacturing systems, advanced materials characterisation laboratories, and modern CNC machining centres.
