The Rail Cluster Project is delighted to welcome CAF to our next virtual event, which will be held on Tuesday 12 October, 11.00-11.45am. Please join us to hear all about this diverse and exciting railway business. CAF is a Spanish-based global manufacturer of specialist railway products, components and systems and has a factory in Newport in Wales building suburban and metro trains, high speed trains, and trams.

We would like to give a very warm welcome to Pablo Moreno, CAF’s UK Procurement Manager who will speak to us about CAF, its products and services, the exciting projects it’s working on and how businesses might engage with CAF regarding work opportunities.

Pablo Moreno, UK Procurement Manager. Pablo has 15+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement environments and joined CAF Rolling Stock in January 2018. He has previously held positions in highly complex industrial sectors such as the automotive, aerospace and railway, and has worked with global organisations Airbus UK, Aernnova (Aerospace Tier 1), Benteler Automotive (JIT/JIS Tier 1 at Mercedes-Benz Spain).

The session will take the form of a presentation followed by a question and answer session, where you can ask Pablo and his team any questions you might have. A big thank you from the rail cluster team at Scottish Engineering to Pablo and the team at CAF for very kindly supporting this event.
