Following its acquisition of Future Industrial Services in 2023, Augean has expanded its capabilities in industrial cleaning, decommissioning and decontamination, supporting customers across the Energy, Petrochemical, Manufacturing, Utilities and Cement sectors throughout Scotland, England and Wales. With expertise spanning Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, Construction, Nuclear, Processing, Manufacturing, and Oil and Gas, Augean delivers innovative commercial and compliance solutions in complex, regulated markets.
Scottish Engineering members will have the opportunity to visit Augean’s Specialist Metal Recovery plant and learn more about its recycling and recovery solutions for industrial waste streams, including packaged and contaminated waste, filtercakes, catalysts, alkalis, acids, chemicals, sludges and mercury waste.
The visit will provide an insight into its specialist treatment processes and facilities, including its mercury and copper recovery plants, thermal recovery and treatment facilities, transfer station, Lower Tier COMAH site and HiPod™ container processing operations. Attendees will also hear about the in-house chemical plant design expertise and technical documentation that supports the site’s relevant authorisations.
This visit provides an excellent opportunity to see specialist waste recovery processes in operation and explore how innovative treatment and recovery solutions can support environmental compliance and resource efficiency.
