Mental Health and Well-Being: Supportive Conversations

When it comes to mental health and well-being, what stops you from having a supportive conversation with someone who you think might be struggling? One of many answers might be – “I might not have the answer to this person’s problems.” Here’s the good news, unless you’re a doctor or counsellor, you’re not expected to have the answers or to solve anyone’s problems. All you need to do is to listen, show empathy, and care. In this webinar, Amy McDonald and Angus Robinson of member company Headtorch will explore the barriers and the skills needed to be confident to have a supportive conversation.
