Join us on Wednesday 26th March 10am – 1pm, for an opportunity to share common challenges, better understand how fellow member companies are continuously improving their business, and hear more about Finesse Control Systems an Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineering Company – Specialising in the design, development and full systems integration of bespoke industrial automation solutions.

Currently with a team of 20, the business has delivered a multitude of interesting projects across a wide range of industries enabling both OEM machine builders and end users to benefit from the application of the latest in automation technologies.

Founded in 2000, Finesse Control Systems will celebrate 25 years in business this July. Initially a one-man consultancy business, it grew as a family-owned business until 2020 where it began a transition to an employee-owned business.  Currently, it is preparing for the founding directors to hand over the reigns to the new generation.

The visit will include a presentation from the directors, reflecting on the company’s journey to date, the challenges both technical and commercial and some of its more prestigious projects, its culture and commitment to developing youth and the journey to employee ownership. Speakers will also present on the Vision the new team have to grow and establish a strong future for the employee-owned business, and the exciting opportunities for industry to leverage evolving technologies, such as robotics, AI, IOT to enhance efficiency in what is being referred to as the next Industrial Revolution.

The visit will also include an opportunity for a short tour of the Finesse Control Systems’ premises, seeing the design office, control panel assembly workshops, and its new Technology Hub which is being developed to celebrate its 25^th Anniversary, aiming to showcase new technologies, for in house training, for customers presentations, and for supporting local educational institutions to promote an interest in STEM subjects and careers.

The event will conclude with a buffet Lunch and time to network.
