James Walker Devol started life as Devol Engineering back in 1966 in Greenock. But since 2008 it has been part of the James Walker Group of companies and moved to its current site in Gourock in 2013. Its core business is materials substitution & advanced engineering solutions. James Walker Devol specialises in replacing other materials with its proprietary Devlon grades of nylon thermoplastics, and other high-performance thermoplastics, to help its customers improve product performance.
