Our first Legal Update webinar of 2022 will be hosted by Lindsey Miller, ScotEng Legal & HR Support Manager, and will cover a variety of topical employment law and HR issues including a case law update covering new developments in the relationship between vaccination and dismissal, flexible working requests, sexual harassment and more. We will also take a look at upcoming changes in Scottish Government policy which will impact employment law in 2022 and covid related policy issues.
- Case Law Update – tune in to hear about recent cases about vaccinations and dismissal in the context of the pandemic, flexible working requests, sexual harassment, vexatious grievances and a recent case that may affect any outstanding holiday pay claims.
- New & forthcoming developments – an update covering Scottish government policies impacting on employment, and the relevant contents of the proposed new Employment Bill.
- Annual review of certain statutory payments/limits – an update on changes to statutory pay levels implementing this April 2022.
- Covid related policy issues – an update on matters relating to the pandemic, including isolation rules, return to the office & any actions required, sick pay for un/vaccinated employees, holidays carried over.
