Discrimination case law updates, COVID latest developments and menopause

Our third Legal Update of 2022 will explore many of the queries that our Legal & HR team receive on a regular basis. This session will be hosted by Legal & HR Support Manager, Lindsey Miller along with Trainee Solicitor, Amie Trainor and will provide an in-depth look at the following current hot topics:

• as media attention puts the spotlight on issues arising from menopause – some statistics and case law to consider
• Covid– as cases work their way through the court system, an update on the latest developments
• the importance of following fair procedures, and consequences of failure to do so – some recent examples in case law
• developments in the area of “fire and rehire” – recap of the ACAS Code and any BEIS update
• agency workers replacing striking employees?”

There will be opportunities for quick questions between each section, with the session concluding with a short Q&A.
