From 1 October 2026, significant changes to the UK’s right to work regime will come into force, extending compliance obligations well beyond traditional employment relationships. Join Harper Macleod’s Liz Basi for a practical 30-minute breakfast briefing exploring what these changes mean for employers in practice.
The session will cover the key changes coming into force on 1 October 2026 including: the types of working arrangements that fall within scope of the expanded regime; the extended liability provisions which, in certain circumstances, may allow liability to extend beyond the direct employer, through supply chains. We will also explore the practical steps employers should be taking now to review their contracts, policies and compliance processes ahead of implementation.
