Strathclyde University Member Networking and Best Practice Meeting
Strathclyde University
Tuesday 16 June 2026
Join us on Tuesday 16 June, 10am – 1pm, for an opportunity to share common challenges, gain insight into how fellow member companies are continuously improving their businesses, and hear more about the University of Strathclyde and its role in supporting innovation, growth, and competitiveness across industry.
Running a small or medium-sized business comes with constant pressures, from tight margins and evolving customer demands to rapidly changing markets. The University of Strathclyde understands these challenges and works closely with businesses to provide practical, accessible support that helps organisations innovate, scale, and remain competitive.
Located at the heart of Glasgow City Innovation District, Strathclyde — “the place of useful learning” — brings together businesses, researchers, and entrepreneurs within a thriving ecosystem focused on collaboration and innovation. With a straightforward and flexible approach, the University makes it easy for companies to engage with specialist expertise, advanced facilities, and funding opportunities available through UK Government initiatives.
Hosted by the Faculty of Engineering, this event will showcase how the University of Strathclyde supports businesses in developing new products, processes, and technologies; unlocking value from innovation; and building the skills, talent, and partnerships needed to compete and grow.
Attendees will also hear first-hand from companies currently collaborating with Strathclyde through Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) and industrial projects, sharing their experiences of delivering measurable business impact through innovation and partnership working.
Members will have the opportunity to tour Strathclyde’s state-of-the-art facilities, experience demonstrations of ongoing research and development activity, and hear from key University staff about the technologies, expertise, and collaborative opportunities available to industry.
