As well as hearing from BOC experts on the topics of Laser cutting, Gas safety and BOC’s Gas Safety Awareness training PSOs, their new REArc initiative (Reduce Emissions in Arc Welding) and Hydrogen fuel switching/alternative fuels…
Visitors can expect to see their cylinder filling operation where they fill approximately 5000 cylinders per week, and act as a distribution hub, sorting, and handling approximately 6000 cylinders per week of transient products. Onsite they have liquid Oxygen, Argon, Nitrogen and CO2 storage vessels for filling 300bar industrial cylinders, as well as filling hospitality gases and Cryospeed mini-bulk tankers. They will also take visitors over to their onsite retail operation the Gas and Gear, where customers can purchase and collect gas cylinders as well as hardgoods, gas equipment and PPE and where they will be demonstrating a zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell powered mobile lighting tower, which utilised BOCs 200W Hymera Fuel Cell together with the Hydrogen ‘Genie’ cylinders.
Visitors will be required to bring, safety shoes, high-vis jacket/vest.
