January Breakfast Briefing – Developing The Young Workforce

Catch up with January’s Breakfast Briefing – Developing The Young Workforce

This breakfast briefing focuses on the Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) programme. DYW aims to prepare young people for their future pathways and the transition into the world of work. The briefing is presented by Justin Thomas, who is a Programme Manager with DYW in Dumfries and Galloway. DYW has been working with Scottish Engineering for over five years helping to introduce young people (and the adults surrounding them) to our ever-changing industry. He joined us to tell us more about the projects he produces as well as updating us on this year’s huge D&G STEM festival ‘Bang Goes DG!’ in May.

Please look out for details of forthcoming Breakfast Briefings, which take place on the first Wednesday of the month from 08:00-08:30. If you have any questions on this Breakfast Briefing or suggestions for future briefings, then please contact Kevin Duffy in the ScotEng legal team.
